As I marvel at His glorious Creation I am in a sense of awe that He left Heaven to come to us and <br />sacrifice His life so we could enter into a relationship with Him that will last for eternity. Pretty sure that's why Peter coaches us to "Grow in grace…" (2 Peter 3:18)Sara Getzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15784236536920734729noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7913051515822199596.post-92126720845897141362013-11-01T05:03:47.474-07:002013-11-01T05:03:47.474-07:00I used to live with a nagging guilt from not readi...I used to live with a nagging guilt from not reading a certain amount of pages in the Bible per day or going to the extreme of feeling a satisfaction from how much I did read. I am sure some comes from my old religious thinking of being good enough for God. However, when the guilt and smug thinking try to crawl back into my brain I have to remember to choose "Grace." My missing a devotion time is not going to change God's love for me. To think any different would cheapen what Christ did to free me of the burdens of life. To read the Bible without the guilt takes the old religious 500 lb gorilla off my back and then I can as you have said, "When I do, I experience the free life, and it's wonderful."Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08509739807999000489noreply@blogger.com
